Raina’s Model for a Day Photo Shoot Experience

I recently had the absolute joy of photographing Raina Samosorn, a talented senior whose love for music and the arts shines through in everything she does. Raina chose our exclusive "Model for a Day" senior photo shoot experience - the ultimate, all-inclusive session that allowed us to capture her vibrant personality across multiple outfits, settings, and moods.

We began the day in downtown San Antonio, TX, taking full advantage of the morning light and the urban textures to highlight Raina’s creative spirit. With her hair and makeup professionally styled, she brought energy, emotion, and authenticity to every frame. From bold city shots to playful candids, this first stop set the tone for an unforgettable day.

Next, we headed to my photography studio in Bracken Village, where Raina enjoyed a catered lunch and a chance to relax and reset. The studio session allowed us to photograph her in a more refined, styled setting, focusing on expression, lighting, and artistry. She moved with confidence, and the results were simply stunning.

To end the day, we made our way to Boerne and the Cibolo Nature Center, where golden hour wrapped her in warm, glowing light. Among tall grasses, wooden paths, and wide open skies, Raina's connection to nature and her inner calm radiated in every photo.

This session was especially close to my heart, as Raina’s mom was part of my 40 Over 40 Project two years ago. Capturing both mother and daughter in different seasons of life, each celebrating their passions and beauty, was deeply meaningful.
