Lately, everything feels so artificial… AI faces, filters, perfect bodies, perfect lives. And the more perfect the images become, the less human they feel to me.
We’ve gotten used to seeing versions of ourselves that don’t actually exist, and something about that feels… off. Because when everything is polished, optimized, and edited, we start to forget what real even looks like.
So I created something different.
UNFILTERED
A black and white portrait experience built on honesty.
No reshaping, no heavy retouching, no filters, no fixing.
Just you.
Your face, your skin, your expression, and your presence, exactly as you are at this time of your life.
This is a simple and honest, in-studio portrait session with no elaborate sets or distractions, just you against a light or dark backdrop.
You’ll wear clothes you already own, and you can come exactly as you are. Light, everyday makeup is welcome, but nothing is required.
During your session, I’ll guide you gently so you never feel lost or awkward. There is direction, but nothing forced. The goal is not to create a “perfect” pose. The goal is to capture something real.
As a portrait photographer in San Antonio, I’ve spent years helping people feel confident in front of the camera. This experience builds on that foundation, but removes the pressure to look edited or polished.
Your skin will look like skin and your expression will look like you.
Because real is enough.
The Experience
This is a simple, in-studio, black and white portrait session with minimal backdrops and no distractions.
The entire experience is two hours or less and includes:
• 2–3 outfits you already own
• Movement, expression, and stillness
• An immediate image reveal
• The session fee of $600 is applied toward your print purchase
This is not a headshot session.
It is not glam.
It is not branding.
It is identity.
How it Feels
You’ll walk into my studio in Bracken Village. We’ll talk for a few minutes, settle your nerves, and choose your first look.
There is direction, but nothing forced. You won’t be left wondering what to do and you also won’t be sculpted into something that isn’t you.
After your session, you’ll see your portraits the same day.
In black and white.
Unfiltered.
Honest.
And you’ll decide which ones belong in your home.
