Clemens High School senior Taylor Montgomery wanted a photo shoot that felt relaxed, authentic, and full of personality - just like her. During our personal consultation, we talked about what made her feel most like herself, and one location immediately came to mind: the Gruene Historic District.

Gruene is such a charming spot just outside of San Antonio, TX, with its rustic buildings, vintage signs, winding streets, and cozy textures. It offers the perfect mix of character and natural beauty, and it gave us everything we needed to show off Taylor’s casual style and fun, easygoing vibe.

Taylor had only two special requests to make her senior photo shoot feel personal: she wanted to include her sweet dog and her beautiful sister, Hannah. As a photographer, I absolutely love when clients bring in the people (and pets!) who matter most. These little touches not only make the session more meaningful - they also create photos that feel even more treasured for years to come.

The bond between Taylor and Hannah was so genuine and sweet, and her pup added the perfect playful energy. We captured everything from candid laughs to heartfelt hugs, all with the warm backdrop of Gruene behind them. It was the kind of session that reminds me exactly why I love being a senior photographer in San Antonio.
