I’m so excited to share Sydney’s beautiful (and wildly memorable) senior session with you! Sydney is a senior at Lockhart High School, and she made the trip over to Gruene, TX—one of my favorite locations—for her portrait session.

We started the day with sunshine, laughter, and the perfect breeze. Gruene always delivers with its charming streets, rustic textures, and easy access to the gorgeous Guadalupe River. Sydney looked absolutely stunning and brought such a calm, confident energy to every shot.

Just as we were wrapping up the last part of her session in the river, though... the skies opened up! Total downpour. And instead of letting it throw us off, Sydney embraced the moment and played in the rain. Those candid, joy-filled shots ended up being some of my absolute favorites—and totally captured her fun-loving spirit.

This session was the perfect reminder that some of the best moments happen when things don’t go quite as planned. Sydney, you handled it all with grace and good humor, and your gallery is a gorgeous mix of polished and playful.
