Let’s shine the spotlight on Lauren, a senior at Clemens High School, whose late summer senior portrait session on August 18 was filled with relaxed charm, sunny smiles, and a whole lot of personality. We photographed her in the heart of Gruene, TX, one of my favorite small-town gems just outside San Antonio, TX - and it turned out to be the perfect setting to capture her carefree vibe.
Lauren’s favorite place on earth is her grandpa’s lake, and honestly, that tells you everything you need to know about her - she’s grounded, joyful, and happiest when surrounded by the people she loves. During her session, she brought that same energy. Every photo is filled with genuine smiles, sweet laughter, and a calm confidence that’s just so her.
Style-wise, Lauren kept things comfy and true to herself. Her favorite things in her closet? Sandals and Converse, of course! She added pops of personality with each outfit, perfectly balancing casual and cute - the kind of fashion that photographs effortlessly in the warm, rustic streets of Gruene.
When she’s not in front of the camera, Lauren’s probably dancing to her favorite hip hop and R&B tracks, laughing at Spongebob, or enjoying a slice of chocolate lava cake (because who could resist?). And if you ask her what she can’t live without, the answer is easy: family, friends, and happiness. Such a sweet and simple reminder of what truly matters.
